Operation

Metsä-Multia Oy offers to its customer’s high quality services in mechanical logging. The main operating area is the western part of Central-Finland, mainly Multia, Pylkönmäki, Saarijärvi, Keuruu, and Petäjävesi.
Customers: Metsäliitto Oyj (material supplier to M-Real Oyj), Forest Management Association (FMA) Metso, and Kohiwood Oy.

Our company employs over 20 professional of forestry (machine operators) and together with all co-companys over 40 operators.

Our equipments consist of seven harvesters and six forwarders, in a manual cutting we have two loggers. Our co-companys have seven harvesters, eight forwarders and loggers. We are serving special transports with two trailers, both of the trucks are in a licenced run. Our workshop is located in the middle of community Multia, where we sell fuel, lubricant stuff, tools for repair and hydraulic hoses.

Preminences of our business are high-quality and long-range development of business. We are members of The Trade Association of Finnish Forestry and Earth Moving Contractors and that’s why we are committed in a Certification of Finnish Forestry.
